Subject: Application for the buyer position

Dear Mr Lugon,

Your company is looking for a buyer for electronic components. I have bought technical parts from European and Asian suppliers for five years, and diversifying your supply sources is a project that motivates me.

With a federal certificate in purchasing, I work at Électronique Industrielle Riviera SA, managing an annual volume of CHF 12 million with 70 suppliers. I renegotiated our framework agreements, saving 7% over two years, and qualified two European suppliers to reduce our dependence on Asia.

Your growth and the autonomy you give your purchasing team are what I am looking for.

I negotiate in French, English and German. My notice period is three months, and I would be glad to meet you.
