What the recruiter wants to read

Your federal certificate (electrician, installation electrician, planner) and your licences, such as the NIV/OIBT authorisation.
The installations you have done: residential, industrial, solar, building automation (KNX).
How independently you work on site, final inspections and your driving licence.

Subject: Application for the electrician position

Dear Mr Jaquier,

Électricité Lémanique SA is looking for an electrician for its residential projects and solar installations. That is the field I have specialised in for the past five years.

After qualifying as an installation electrician, I joined Courant Plus Sàrl, where I wire complete houses on my own, from conduit to distribution board. I have installed more than forty solar systems with battery storage and I program KNX systems. I am currently preparing the federal exam for electrical safety advisers.
