Subject: Application for the interior designer position

Dear Ms Schmid,

Your studio is looking for an interior designer for hospitality projects. Over the past three years I have led the interiors of two mountain hotels, and this is the field I want to continue in.

A graduate in interior architecture, I work at Atelier Espaces Habités, where I led the renovation of 40 rooms and the public areas of a hotel in Verbier, from concept to site supervision: material boards, construction drawings, furniture selection and coordination of tradespeople, on a budget of CHF 2.4 million.

Your use of local materials and your attention to users’ comfort match how I see the profession.

My portfolio is attached. My notice period is three months, and I would be glad to present my projects.

Kind regards,
Laura Bovier
